R.E At Harvest time Christians will often bake a Harvest loaf to celebrate a bountiful crop. They give thanks to God for providing the sun and rain which helped the crops grow. The Harvest loaf symbolises the growing process and that food has been provided for the year ahead. The children produced their own symbols that were important in their own lives.

When Duck went missing in Pumpkin Soup the soup wasn’t as good, it tasted horrible. We worked as teams, in small groups to make parts of a lego city. We have enjoyed listening to traditional tales. We have been sequencing stories and retelling them with our own characters. We have taken part in lots of role play and our latest writing adventure has found us jumping inside a book! We are very proud of our class book!
Cinderella has been having so many problems over the past few weeks but luckily we have all been able to help her out. First her carriage had a leak. We were so worried that her dress would get ruined so we helped her to find the best material to fix her carriage. This involved lots of planning and team work. We carried out an experiment to find a waterproof material to fix her carriage.
7th November 2018 When we came into school this morning we noticed a strange looking tail poking out from our classroom clock.. The someone said they thought they had seen more in the school. So we all went for a walk to see if we could find any more . . Look what we found!!
Tuesday 6th November 2018 So . . .major drama occurred!! The egg hatched! We have no idea what has come out of the egg but it left glitter EVERYWHERE!!! There was glitter by the door, under Mrs Addison’s desk, next to the cupboards!! The classroom was literally covered!! I wonder what could have escaped from the egg?
