Every week you will receive 1 dojo if you read 5 times a week. If you read every night you will receive 2 dojos. Remember to discuss or summarise what you have read with an adult. You are also expected to practise your times tables on TTRockstars by playing 30 minutes a week. Please play 5 games a week on the studio section too.
Today instead of Working on our puppets for DT, we learnt how to make friendship bracelets. (Usually we would learn this in the summer term) It is a skill we could learn and take home to continue. It was lovely to sit and relax once we knew how to do the weaving. The video shows you how to do it. We used ‘double knitting’ wool not embroidery thread.

We have started our new writing unit based on the book Persephone by Sally Pomme Clayton. The class acted out their own myths today to help inspire them when then the pupils write their own myths.
We have been writing our 500 words stories to enter into the BBC 500 word competition this week. We are then going to perform them so we can listen to each other’s stories. I enjoyed teaching Foxes last term and am looking forward to another exciting term. We have begun work on this term’s class assemblies.
